Tommie Earleen Parrish passed away May 20. A beloved speaker, friend, and mother, she was the wife of the late retired district superintendent Milton B. Parrish. Together they served in Kansas City, Kansas, Texas, Maryland, and South Africa. read more

Bethany First Church of the Nazarene honored by Oklahoma Senate

In one of the final acts in this session of the 52nd legislative session, the Oklahoma State Senate honored Bethany First Church of the Nazarene for its centennial milestone. A Senate Resolution sponsored by Senator Glenn Coffee and Senator Cliff Branan was presented on the floor of the Oklahoma Senate on May 20. read more

Warrick reports growth and vision in South America

J. K. Warrick, jurisdictional general superintendent for the South America Region, recently conducted district assemblies across six countries: Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Bolivia, Argentina, and Paraguay. Throughout his tour, he reported statistical gains, many being sanctified and renewed in the power of the Spirit around altars, and an eagerness to participate in fulfilling the mission of the Church of the Nazarene: to make Christlike disciples in the nations. read more

Indonesian Nazarenes find 100 ways to celebrate the Centennial
"Proud to be Nazarene" was the catch phrase heard during the week-long Centennial celebration among Nazarenes in Indonesia. A number of localized festivities took place in churches across the nation, but Indonesia Nazarene Theological College in Yogyakarta was the center for a variety of well-planned activities involving students, pastors, faculty, staff, children, and missionaries.
